Our union, APBC (Ambulance Paramedics BC, CUPE 873), completely failed in their duty to represent us at the time when we needed them. They just followed the government narrative and appeared to support the move to illegally fire Paramedics, we have written evidence to show they just quoted the government saying that “choices have consequences”, they didn’t appear to lift one finger to represent or support us, not even the Paramedics that had genuine Religious or Medical exemptions. When in history have you ever heard or seen a union behave like this?
Yes, they did file a collective grievance on our behalf, but it still hasn’t been heard yet, and there’s been absolutely no communication since, so we don’t hold any hope there!

Our employer, BCEHS (BC Emergency Health Service), failed to provide a safe working environment. The medical intervention that the government mandated was not tested for stopping transmission, there are no long-term studies into the safety of these novel drugs and there was absolutely no informed consent.
BCEHS just parroted the statement put out by the government, saying that these injections were “safe and effective” without any genuine scientific evedence. We could clearly see the opposite was true in the patients we transported to hospitals, and sadly, in the unfortunate patients that we couldn’t help and had to put into body-bags.

The government failed to provide informed consent or scientific evedence for the medical interventions that they mandated.

They illegally mandated that healthcare workers had to take gov't designated novel mRNA therapeutics to keep their jobs, despite the fact that mandatory “vaccination" is not allowed under the constitution of Canada. They completely ignored the religious views and concerns of so many people and made it totally impossible for anyone to obtain a medical exemption, even for the people that had already been injured by these medical interventions.
The government completely violated everybody's constitutional rights and provided no genuine scientific justification for doing so.
Even to this day they are pushing the “safe and effective” narrative, despite the mountains of evidence to the contrary and the complete lack of evedence to back up their claims.
Now Health Canada have admitted that they knew that the Pfizer shots were never tested for efficacy in preventing COVID infection or transmission - which was the whole premise for firing healtcare worker, they said we were fired to keep the patients safe! How does that work?
